    TG's Horses for courses Thread

I used to bet a lot on horses but could never really make much money at it - probably due to lack of discipline. I'm sure there is money to be made from betting if you can get your system right and not chase losses.

I do not think that 3 or 4 part accumulators is the way to go (see other strings). I am going to experiment with a bank of £100 and choose just a few horses each day and see whether I can double (or lose it all) quicker than the others.

All bets will be singles to minimum stakes (i.e. £2) on betfair at Betfair S.P. Betfair charges will be deducted from winnings.

    Todays Choices:

    14.20 Exeter Sunnyhillboy
    17.00 Towcester Native City

I am going to back these, but this is mainly for a laugh and I wouldn't recommend that anyone follow me with cash - in fact I would ask that you don't!!!

Please don't misinterpret; I don't intend to lose - I just don't want others to follow blindly and blame me if I do. As I said I'm basing this on a £100 bank so with two bets per day and normally none at weekends I should be able to last at least 5 weeks - see whether the others do.:biggrin:

Selection is based on horse, distance, trainer, course, jockey, opposition, going, odds (I don't back odds on, difficult with SP but hopefully no selection will be under 2.0) and a host ofother factors, lol.

Needed something to do whilst waiting for you to feed me pieces at chess :hattip::hattip:.

I did say not to :duh::duh:.

Well, on your own head Sonic, lol.

Shame you missed the first (ok, so I didn't give much time) as it won at 3.60. So off to a good start, +£4.94.

All stakes/returns are to the betfair minimum of £2.
