tiger id b well interested in the horse racing system of urs.do u think ive put up enough posts yet?i think u might b able to pm me now cos ive got more than 50 postings.not sure might b worth a try.been reading the other site, and i think a straight labouchere 1 line, not buying any points is the way to go.probably.anyway i dont think the next 1 is for a couple days gives all the info time to go down.
I was thinking about this yesterday: If you use a straight labouchere, not buying the points, then you can afford to reduce your initial stake by around 30% and still make the same profit. This also gives you the security of not being severly damaged by a C bet loss. I have very high hopes for this.
so you agree then.im still in 2 minds about the best way to go,the labouchere needs runs of winners to be effective, the recent string of 'b' winners would have meant a virtual standstill on the system.however it would have been bringing in profits.as ive already more than doubled my initial bank i could in theory take a loss, but would rather not.which is why i thought i wouldnt bring in the labouchere until i get to a 'c' bet.i think theres been hardly any where buying the points would have made the difference, like 3 so far,and i would have made more if i hadnt.guess im still confused about the best way to go.
thanks for the horse system, ive heard of this before, trouble is being in canada i dont get the live racing so it might b difficult for me to implement.maybe there would be a way round it.basically for each qualifying race you would make around 20 quid taking into consideration the higher bfair odds.as you say a no lose situation!once ive cleared the linesmaker bonus ill be looking into this further.
if i knew which races were qualifiers it would help immensely.thanks for that, much appreciated.theres a couple games coming up toomorrow i think, will post as and when.
No, if using the labouchere without buying the points the recent sequence would have been profitable against the Martingale buying the points. You would have been winning around 0.85 of a point for each winning sequence, as against 0.5 with the Martingale (Labby: A Bet L -1, B bet W=2x0.925=1.85; Marty: A Bet L -1, B bet W=2.5 x 0.6 = 1.5).
I'd be inclined to play the Labouchere with a 30% smaller stake if I were you, so as to get the same profit with less risk. This would allow you to run it longer too. But it's your call. Difficult to cut back when it's going so well!!
The qualifying races are posted on the Bet365 site. Next on Saturday - I think there's 4 or 5 of them. You can watch text commentary on the RP site.
Catch you tomorrow.

ok next selections are milwaukee v sacramento and san antonio v philly.
This, of course is not a pure labouchere string since with it the bets would start 2-3 etc, but approximates to your idea of Martingale for the first two bets and then Labouchere. I think it's called an up and down string as you increase your bet by 1 when you lose and reduce it when you win. Lot easier to follow. I think we're talking about the same thing.
Any views on time to place the bets to get the best spread/odds?
Can't find the San Antonio game - is this Saturday?
