well that one was a bit of a damp squib.the next pick is another scary one.TEX v CLE UNDER 9(game 1).T.Hunter for the rangers has an excellent era of 2.95,so the indians will find it hard to put runs on the board.however carrasco for the indians debuted on the 1st september vs the tigers,gave up 4 runs in the first innings and after giving up another 2 in the 3rd,was promptly replaced.however we had a similar situation last week,with the rookie pitcher there having an era of 14 coming into the game.he then went 6 innings without giving up a run,and im sure carrasco will have gotten over his major league debutant nerves,and will hopefully pitch much better this time.anyway bet is TEX v CLE UNDER 9,odds are 1.893.bet $53.68 to win $47.94

well so much for that!would have probably been ok,but for duke giving up 7 runs at the top of the first!not a good day so far,lets try to redeem that one.with so many untried pitchers coming out for the end of the season its a tricky minefield to negotiate.im tempted on the UNDER in the padres/giants game.the replacement pitcher for the giants is untested at this level,but has similar stats as linecaum who is one of the best.they think he could be the next hot thing around.however he is unntested,and after the earlier rangers debacle im not going to go there.looking at the stats,the pitching matchup between the dodgers and diamondbacks looks to be a one sided affair.buckner has an era of over 8,whereas billingsley for the dodgers is tried and tested,with 12 wins,8 losses in his 20 starts this year,era 3.83.i think the dodgers will try to hammer buckner out of the game,so i am going with LAD -1.5 runs v ARI.odds here are 1.952.bet 236.73 to win $225.37.lets hope the dodgers have their bats HOT today!!
