Hello everybody

The only experience of betting I have is being given 50p to bet on the Grand National as a kid. I'd like to bet on things like: the price of oil being $150 in six months time or Germany's credit rating will be lowered to CCC in 16 months time or Ron Paul will win the Republican nomination for the 2012 US presidential race. Basically, which bookies will take these kind of bets? I went to the new Labrookes on Corporation Street in Birmingham but the girl behind the counter didn't know what to do. I've posted this question on a few others forums to get a general idea of the best bookies to use so I hope nobody takes offence.
