As predicted Fred has unleashed his new Goals Galore coupon out for the new season of footy with an all too predictable ammendment. The gobby Outspoken bookie has harped on about what amazing value he gives the punters for years but his neck has truly been wound back in recently with his willingness to take wagers on this market.
At the start of last season both teams to score was around 4/5 with a treble giving you an enhanced return of 9/2. Throughout the season he embarassingly stopped accepting singles, then doubles before insisting on minimum trebles at a reduced price of 4/1.Then around March he actually cherry picked which individual matches you couldn't back ( usual suspects such as Peterborough, Leeds, Crewe etc were often missing from the coupon.
This season though, Fred the value bookie of them all has really given one in the ar*e for all his valued customers. A treble is now best priced 3/1 a WHOPPING reduction !!
In addition to this, the enhanced odds for the 1 from each section has been reduced from 25/1 to 16/1. He'll undoubtedly take the odd fiver from the high street punter in the shop but I urge any big players to boycot this muppet of a bookie and forward this thread to any of your friends that have given this coupon some hammer over the last season or 2. I will be closing my account and taking my business elswhere and when I do I will be explaining the reason behind my decision. Let's all try and force his hand to reinstate the value of just a year ago. After all if your mortgage went up over 25% in one year without reason then you'd move to another lender !!
