    Books to read?

I'm looking to take my game to the next level and would like some recomendations for some good books to read. I prefer to play holdem nl. I never play for huge pots and although i am looking for help i have been playing poker on and off for quite some time so i am looking for a book that can offer some fairly advanced strateges. I've heard that Super System is concidered by many as the pker bible but also that it is out dated. What about Daniel Negreanu's 'Poker holdem Stategy'? has anyone read that yet? Thier publishers are advertising it as one of the three most influential books ever written.

Super System 2 will never be outdated imo. I found it be a great source of inspiration for me. There are a few good books by David Sklansky out there too. Harrington On Holdem is also a good read.

Yeah, Super System will never be outdated. It is and will always be a great book and a definite must read if you take your game seriously. Negreanus new book is outstanding, his section on small ball poker is anyway. We will have to see whether or not it is one of the 3 most influential Poker books ever but it certainly does advance certain areas of the game beyond what has previously been put on paper for all to see.

I finished reading the negreanu book a few days ago and, yeah, on th whole i thought it was really very good. The best two chapters were "mixing it up" by David Williams and negreanu's own on "small Ball"

I have power hold'em and I like it.
Anyone tried Evelyn Ng's hyper Agg tourney system (from the same book) yet?

and also, if I already have "Super System", is it worth buying "Super System 2"?
