Or in other words, the PokerPlayer Grand Prix is back! Yes the UK’s best online tournament series returns to your living rooms for 2011 with a new look, a new sponsor ( bwin )and a brand new PokerPlayer team to take on.

Thanks to our friends at bwin we’ve got a whopping $16,000 worth of prizes to give away over nine tournaments, culminating in our live and always legendary Grand Final.
How to play:

To take on this year’s A-Team all you need to do is open a real money account at bwin nd enter your exclusive PokerPlayer passwords (see issue 74).

You’ll earn points for every event you play, and extra points are up grabs if you can bust B.A. and the gang (or Paul, Alun, Keir and Marc to everyone else).

Win one of our $1,000 GTD freerolls or low-stakes buy-ins and you’ll automatically grab at seat in our live Grand Final in December.

The top 20 players at the end of the eight-game series will also join us in the final, where there’s an $8,000 GTD prize pool on the line.
How to score points:

> Five points are awarded for each freeroll you play in
> Ten points are awarded for each buy-in you play in
> Five points are awarded for knocking out any member of the A-Team (including the occasional guest star)
> The top 50 players in each event will be awarded points on a sliding scale~
> The top 20 point-scores on the leaderboard will win a seat at the Grand Final. Simple.

We’ll put an up-to-date leaderboard on the site after every Grand Prix 7 event.
