    Posting Screenshots Instructions

I will try to explain in laymans term as a few members are struggling as I used to
If anyone knows an easier method please feel free to add ideas
To capture a screenshot is quite simple, what you do with it after is a little harder, more on that later.
    1) If you wish to capture a screenshot of a win or a good hand whilst at the tables you have to do so quickly before the image changes, so you have to think ahead a little and be ready
    2) As soon as the image you want to capture appears press alt and prt scr together. That's it your done :D Well no not really, you HAVE captured the image but you need to save it.
    3) The easiest way is to open Word, open a new document, right click on that new document and click on paste. You should see the screenshot of your massive win or Royal Flush appear ;)
    4) You can then save this Word document (naming it) and put it in a New Folder (Screenshots) within My Documents
    5) Everytime you take a new screenshot repeat the process, you can then drag and drop every screenshop into your Screenshots folder
    6) You can practice this by capturing your desktop as often as you like and saving it in Word, go on try it now

Now for the tricky bit, Getting it onto the Forum

You have to use free software that is readily available. I use Imageshack which can be found at http://imageshack.us/ (I have no interests in this site other than using it as a tool to post screenshots)
Once you have a free account you can then post any screenshots to the Forum via Imageshack, this is the bit that I initially struggled with, not so much getting the image onto the Forum but more so getting them the correct size, I was always getting grief off Alex for my tiny screenshots the size of a postage stamp :D
    To post a screenshot
    1) Open Imageshack
    2) Click on Browse
    3) Find the screenshot in your Screenshots folder
    4) Double click it
    5) This will copy the path into the Browse bar on Imageshack
    6) Click Host It
    7) This will upload the image as a URL (basically text)
    8) Highlight the URL for FORUMS or MESSAGE BOARDS
    9) Right click the highlighted URL and click copy
    10) Go to the UKGF and open the Bragging Thread
    11) Reply to the last post as normal and paste the URL by right clicking/paste
    12) Add any comments you wish and click submit, you should see your screenshot appear as the last post ;)

If it all goes tits up and your image is not the correct size you can always delete it from the forum as I had to lots of times and try again :D It is a case of trial end error using Imageshack sizeing but stick with it until you find a method that gets your image onto the forum nice and big
I have tried to explain this as simply as I can, it might seem to be a lot of hard work but once you have done it a few times it is very easy and not that time consuming. I was crap at it to begin with but can now get a screenshot onto the forum in probably 30 seconds from start to finish
    Have fun :D

Yes either Paint or Word, I don't know which is easier I just find a method and stick to it. My Laptop saves screenshots automatically to a particular folder and are easy to find, don't know how it does this but I think once you have saved one, all others follow the same path. My desktop saves them as Word documents probably because that's what I did first time around and subsequently all others go to the same place.
I am not that technically minded but if I can manage it I'm sure others can. If anyone can explain a simpler method than above please do so. Like I said practice capturing your desktop as often as you like until you are happy and you know where it ends up, then get that major win and brag like hell, after all Alex does :D

I would recommend using paint to save it and save it as a JPEG which is usually the smallest size.

size doesnt really matter as the image shack upload for forums is very good, and we would like to what is being posted in one go rather than have to click on the picture to see what it says:D

That makes no sense, you would still be able to read it no matter what file type is used...

For the members on here that dont know how to do a screenshot:

    hold alt and print screen

go to paint on your pc (or similar application)

on the tool bar, click edit and then paste

your screenshot should now be on the screen

save as a jpg into your pictures

visit www.imageshack.us and uploade your pic by clicking browse and selecting your saved picture

a few seconds later you will see a number of boxes appear, copy the whole code from the box marked "hotlink for forums 1"

then simply paste the code into your message on here
    ..
