Different Machine Modes?
I've noticed on a lot of machines theres pictures of a pint glass, 1 armed bandit, Horses. Now I know this stands for Pub,Arcade,Bookies Mode but what difference does it actually make to the machine? I'm hoping you've got a bit of knowledge on this matt.

reply and question lol
yeah hat pint glas has always puzzled me plz can some 1 find out what is lol ive noticed on reds 35jp it doesnt alter the % on payout wether u play it on 50p or 30p has ne 1 else noticed this just seems to put u on board more but no big results ne quicker

Some machines don't give the extra 6%. It's very crafty how they do it but unless there's a light showing +6% then the machine doesn't give it. Just gives enhanced play like numbers in view or all features red on entry.

sux doesnt it
yeah it tricks u into thinkin its playin but in fact its just norm lol crafty bastards

ne news on the pint glass its buggin me lol

The only info i've come across so far is that when in arcade mode the machine will tend to offer skillful features more where as pub mode throws out more mid range cash wins to keep punters happy.

naa.... had a root around gambo...... buggin crap outa me.... its just soft/hard play options.... no real difference, the bulbs are there from a way back when , wiith the old law to do with bingo halls!!!... had to have club % in them days and it had to be visible to the public...., ergo the diffo lights...cant tell u why they felt the need to distinguish bookies and pubs in that lot.... but apparently theve never really bothered to do a lot about phasing it out from the top glass???

cheers arlington u dont know how long that has bugged me lol

Maybe it's there so punters like us can complain when we lose by saying it's set out on a non paying mode. :p
