how and where do i get the emulator from to dowload slots

yeh, i hav downloaded the mfme 9.4v emulator adn it goes really slow (takes ages to load club cops n robbers gold), plus if you click whilst it is loading the game is will come up not responding. just wondering if any had tips for geting it to run faster, worked fine though the first time, but took ages the 2nd and so forth
