Guide to Fruit-Machine Emulation. v1.0

What is an Emulator?
A device, computer program, or system that accepts the same inputs and produces the same outputs as a given system.
Can I play real slots on my PC?
Yes! If you have the corect software to interpret the slot machine code (an Emulator) - as well as a copy of the slot machine code [a ROM].
So How do I get an emulator
There are different types of emulators for using particular families of roms.
There are 6 different drivers/emulators. Your first task is to load these emulators onto your pc.
This has been made easy by a program called FMEIW….< fruit machine emulation installation wizard>. FMEIW will install all of the latest emulators onto your pc and set them up in your start menu.

Now you have all the drivers installed bar one, which will be explained about a little later, its time to tell you exactly what you have installed.
MFME 1.1: This driver plays mpu ¾ and m1a roms, in classic and dx layouts.
MFME 2.0/3.0: These drivers will play impact, mpu4, system 80, system 5, system 1, scorpion 2, mp5 and m1a.
MFME 2.1/3.1: Drivers for sp.ace and proconn.

JPeMU: This will play all jpm roms
BFMulator- Emulator for playing Bellfruit Roms
Ok , time to start downloading games. Choose the fruit machine you wish to play and click download, a box will appear in the middle of your screen asking if you wish to save, and you will be prompted to enter a destination (where the rom file will be saved)
Select <save as> and save to your desktop, then click ok. The file will download in a compressed, zipped form, this is called a exe.rar file. The download will appear as a stack of 3 coloured books and all the information is stored in here for your game. This needs to be <extracted>.
This requires a program called MFME 9.4 (Click to Download), (click the link to download Winrar for free). Using your computers automatic install wizard. Just follow the normal program install onscreen directions as for any regular program.
Once winrar is installed its time to extract the information out of the compressed file. Place your mouse arrow over the icon stack of books you have downloaded onto your desktop and RIGHT CLICK, a menu will appear and give you several options, select EXTRACT HERE and left click. This will start self extraction automatically on your desktop, and take no more than 30 seconds to complete.
You will see either 1 of 2 things upon completion, a ready made folder with all the game info in and named as such, or all the components of the game listed downwards on your desktop broken into its separate icons…. E.g roms, ram, graphics ect. If you find this the case simply create a new folder from your desktop and put them all in it, remembering to name the folder as the fruit machine you have chosen.
Now you have every thing you need to play, and depending on what game you have chosen, will dictate on how the fruit machine is loaded.
For the MFME machines you will need the corresponding drivers that look like a fruit machine, this icon is black and should be placed on your desktop along with your game file. Double click the icon and the driver will open, in the middle will be a scrolling text, just close this down. In the top left will be a button named <file>, click on this and a drop down menu will appear, select <load> and a second box will appear listing all icons and folders on your desktop. Click on the fruit machine file in this box then ok, click again on the worded format of the file and ok again and your game will load on your pc……
Now for JPeMU, load up the JPeMU software - File menu->select game ->load.
BFM is slightly different, open the BFMulator- the software will A graphic of a fruit machine mother board will be loaded. Simply drag and drop the compressed file into the drive graphic and it will load. THERE IS NO NEED TO EXTRACT THE COMPRESSED FILE.
Now, the 6th driver/emulator is the latest release, the MFME9.4x, and plays all the modern machines
