i 2 have virgin broadband had looked into other providers but all have caps on service some dont even slowdown your service just switch it off . but a phone call to them about canceling might help if your nice to them and explain things . i got a upgrade a few months back for free.
It certainly pays to complain folks but be careful when contemplating cancelling all together, if you have been with them over the normal 14 day cool off period they will charge you for the remainder of your contract. It is better to just ask for a MAC code and then use that to change ISP.
I have had to change ISP's twice since moving house originally with AOL who were crap, managed to get my MAC code off them and changed to o2 who were brilliant but then moved house to an area where o2 wasn't available so had to go to BT. Was promised 6 meg minimum but in fact got 3meg if I was lucky, emailed them to complain and the following night was up to over 6meg. It's as if they can just flick a switch to improve things
Complain like hell but don't cancel due to anger:thumb:
a dog is for life so DON'T marry one !
