hey, scottie, you dont need a chip for the wii, i believe theres a firmware patch which lets you play pirate games. theres also a hack for the wii which allows DVDs to be played on it.

am enjoying my hacked psp atm, but the Wii is nice. love wii bowling and boxing.
beat my m8 on em both first time i played it and he had 2 weeks practice :biggrin:.

Am sortin out alex with a hacked psp soon. tis awesome. 5 pirate games on my 2gb memory stick atm, gonna buy an 8gb one soon for em. got sega rally evo for it recently, pre production copy :D.

Well we got the Tiger Woods 08 yesterday and I'm not impressed. Although it's got some good courses and realistic play the sensitivity to the remote is crap. It'll take shots when you're doing a backswing or sometimes not respond at all, very frustrating, also the commentary is garbage most of the time and I haven't found a way to switch it off.

Pangya, although it is fantasy based, is a much more solid game and at £10 cheaper gets my vote.

Played TW08 for the 1st time last night. I'm fairly impressed with it. It's still got quite a few glitches though. Managed 6 over par on my 1st round.

startin to think the wii was my worst investment ever... not cause it's a bad bit of kit, far from it, but because i'll be leaving dundee for surrey in a few weeks prob, and won't have a tv down there to play it on!!
