Hi to all
I was watching Dragons Den (in the UK) tonight, and there was one couple who almost got an investment of £200,000 for their gaming comparison website. Among the discussion however, they mentioned gaming forums (Bingo in particular) and how many people used them.
As a result, I've signed up to this tonight and would like some genuine constructive feedback about something I am already involved in, but intend to take more seriously in the coming weeks.
I appreciate that there are a lot of "extreme" games players out there as well as the casual ones, so this request may not be suitable for all of you.
I often play things like internet hearts and spades, and get very frustrated when you can't really talk to them (exept for the pre-arranged options which are not always suitable). I would also like to know who I'm playing with and against.
What do the readers think of a system that will
a) allow you to communicate fully with your partners/opponents
b) allow you to pick who you want to play with - you can challenge your friends and family
c) all software can be downloaded from the internet, so you don't all have to own the DVD and the games console
d) can be played from any computer in the world with internet access
e) (-my favourite!) - people can put their money where their mouth is if they want to, and challenge their mates to games of skill - for money. e.g.Let's see who REALLY is the best racer!
f) and following on from this, there will even be the facility to set up your own tournaments by invitation or open to anybody, for which you as the organiser get a proportion of the entry fees, and the winners can collect a decent prize dependant on how may people enter.
Would this be of interest to any of you?
I look forward to hearing from you. I have a link where you can learn more, but if I understand correctly, I'm not allowed to put it on the forum thread.
If any of you would like it, please let me know.
Lottie
